EMERGENCY SERVICE
An emergency service is provided at Wythenshawe Hospital during the working day and out of normal laboratory hours. During the working day, telephone the appropriate department directly. Out of hours, contact the appropriate Biomedical Scientist or, for clinical advice, the Haematology Medical Officer via the switchboard and/or bleep.
