SPECIMENS:
NB Chest drain tips are inappropriate samples and will not be processed.
A. Sputum or Endo-tracheal aspirate
B. Bronchoalveolar lavage / NBL
C. Bronchial aspirates (or naso pharyngeal aspirate for bacterial culture)
D. Pleural fluid
E. Urine antigen tests
F. Urine for TB
G. Throat swabs
H. Pernasal swabs
